Dr. Wong earned a Bachelor of Engineering Physics at McMaster U. Hamilton, Canada, where he did research in biomedical applications in nuclear physics. He subsequently obtained a Doctor of Medicine and Neurology specialty qualification in Canada, with
...with research fellowships of 1 year each at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, U. California at San Diego, then finally Children's Hosp. of Harvard U., Boston, before joining the U. of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine where he works full time. He was honorary visiting professor at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan U., and Consulting Professor at Jichi Medical U. Japan. He was awarded Canada’s Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for his work in epilepsy as Past President of Epilepsy Canada. He had been a visiting teacher at Guangzhou Women’s and Children’s Medical Center in Guangzhou for many years. He had been previously involved with cardiac pacemaker technology research, and has been exploring the feasibility of rechargeable battery technology for cardiac and neural pacemaker applications. With GRST he intends to play a role in exploring new applications in the biomedical and engineering fields.

Dr. Chan is the Founder and CEO of Nature Elements Capital which is a leading private equity fund investing in cleantech and renewable energy in Asia. Prior to establishing Nature Elements Capital, Dr Chan was Managing Director & Head of Investments- Greater
...Greater China, Climate Change Capital (an investment firm managing over US$1.5 billion assets). He was responsible for all investment activities in carbon emission credits under the Clean Development Mechanism and environmental projects in Greater China.
Dr. Chan was Managing Director of CLP Renewables, China Light and Power (CLP; a leading power company in Asia). He was responsible for building and managing the clean energy and cleantech portfolio of CLP in Asia Pacific (particularly China, India and Australia). He was also responsible for all corporate finance activities of CLP in mainland China, including project financing, merger & acquisition, and project restructuring of energy assets. His achievements at CLP included winning the prestigious “Corporate Developer of the Year” by Euromoney and Ernst & Young in the “Global Renewable Energy Awards 2006”.
Dr. Chan has a BA (First Class Honours) in Electrical & Information Science, PhD in Electronic Engineering (thesis on thin-film semiconductor technology), both from Cambridge University. He has also obtained a Bachelor of Laws from London University and an EMBA from Tsinghua University, Beijing.

He has been management consultant, and specialist/strategist to various organizations including banks, corporations, government agencies, consulting firms and private business enterprises. He has assisted multinational companies in the negotiation of businesses, in technology transfer, mergers and acquisitions. He has been appointed Chief Expert Advisor for Beijing HaiDian City Government of China, and in 2012+ Special Advisor/Consultant for WuXi 530 Program.
Having been on the board of directors of a California bank of US$17 Billion, he had served on the boards of several California banks and NASDAQ companies. He was also appointed by U.S. Government agencies in the turnaround and the purchase and sale of financial institutions. He has also served on the boards of directors of other corporations, especially the high tech ventures in Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, Shanghai and ShenZhen. Representing investment groups, he had run his own San Francisco management companies in real estate, consulting, and investment management with over 40 employees.

Dr. Harry Lee joined Textile Alliance Limited (TAL) in Hong Kong in 1973 and the garment division in 1979. Through restructuring in 1983, TAL’s garment division became an independent operation, TAL Apparel Limited, and Dr. Lee was appointed as the Managing
...Managing Director (a title now referred to as CEO) of this new company. In 2012, Dr. Lee was appointed as Chairman.
Dr. Lee is actively involved in a number of trade organizations and public services in Hong Kong. He is the Honorary Chairman of Textile Council of Hong Kong Ltd. and the Hong Kong Garment Manufacturer’s Association. In addition, he was the Chairman of the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles & Apparel Ltd (HKRITA) from Sept 2010 to Sept 2018, and is currently holding the position of the Advisor, Chairman Emeritus. Dr. Lee is also the Chairman of the Committee of Overseers of Lee Woo Sing College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as the Chairman of Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited. Dr. Lee was awarded the Honorary Fellowship of the Textile Institute in May this year in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Dr. Harry Lee was educated in both the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, UK and a Doctorate degree from Brown University, U.S.A.
