Appointed as Justice of Peace ("J.P.") in 1997 and was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star ("S.B.S.") in 2001.

20+ years’ research experience in electrochemistry and green chemistry. 90+ granted patents. Extensive technical management experience to undertake battery-related research projects in both HKSAR and China. Ph.D. in Chemistry (HK PolyU) and Postdoctoral studies in material science (McGill University).

13+ years’ research and production experience in the lithium-ion battery industry. Specialization in advanced cell design, process development and production. Previously worked for ATL (predecessor of CATL), Hong Kong ASTRI and NAMI. M.Eng. in Applied Chemistry (Shenzhen University).
Dr. LAW Man Chun (Joe)
Chief Legal Officer
10+ years career as a senior patent attorney, specialization in IP strategic planning and enforcement of patent rights. Previously worked for international law firm Squire Patton Boggs. Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Chinese Patent Attorneys Association and a Secretary General of the Hong Kong Institute of Patent Attorney. M.Phil. in Green Chemistry (McGill University) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (HK PolyU).
